Program Description:
The degree is offered to prepare students to assist management in the effective use of resources for the development, implementation and assessment of a comprehensive safety and health program in a variety of occupational, industrial and governmental settings The degree allows students to choose from various industrial/occupational businesses (manufacturing, mining, insurance, health care, retail, agriculture, aviation, government, public services, and many more).Program alumni are in at least 48 states and six countries.
Most full time students complete the degree in approximately two years. Non-traditional (part-time) students typically complete the program in approximately three years. Many courses are offered on weekends and nights, with a large percentage of course requirements being satisfied in this manner.
