Program Description:
This program prepares K-12 school library media specialists. Curriculum is approved by the American Association of School Librarians (a division of the American Library Association) through the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE). The program satisfies the requirements for school library media certification in the state of Missouri. Graduates specialize in working collaboratively with other educators to provide information-rich learning opportunities for school-age audiences. Resources include a $30 million research library with services to on- and off-campus students.
