Program Description:
The Master of Arts in History prepares students for careers in teaching as well as archives, historical museums and other fields of public history. The program offers an innovative curriculum, including Africana, Native American, and Women's Studies, Islamic history, and a field school in Historical Archaeology.
Specializations in American and world history are available, along with internships in public history and service learning opportunities. In close proximity are major research collections such as the Truman Presidential Library and the National Archives Regional Center.
