Ph.D.-Social Psychology
Program Description:
The program at UCSC follows Kurt Lewin's model of "full cycle" social psychology to study a broad range of topics in intergroup relations and social justice. The individual competencies of the faculty combine to make our program among the nation's best for the study of a range of inter-related issues. We are unique in fostering the investigation of enduring theoretical issues within varied cultural, political and policy-oriented contexts, and in requiring our students to become versed in both laboratory and field methodology.
