Program Description:

The Department offers an M.A. in Statistics with two different emphases (Mathematical Statistics, Applied Statistics) as well as a Ph.D. in Statistics and Applied Probability. Optional emphases in Mathematical and Empirical Finance and Quantitative Methods in the Social Sciences are also offered. These programs are open to those who hold a bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or other related fields, and have an undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or above.
