Program Description:

The interdisciplinary degree program in neuroscience at the University of California San Francisco seeks to train students who will be expert in one particular approach to neurobiological research and have a strong background in other areas of neuroscience as well. The faculty of the program is drawn from nine basic science and clinical departments. A conscious effort is made to promote interaction among different research groups and to develop a multidisciplinary approach to teaching.
