Program Description:
Whether you are preparing to become a teacher or a director of a day care center, or are a parent with a personal interest in early childhood development, the Early Childhood Studies Certificates provide a range of coursework designed to help you meet your specific goals.
The certificates are separated into two phases:
Phase I provides information regarding child growth and development, strategies for effective classroom teaching, developmentally based curriculum, and current research and trends.
Phase II is designed to increase knowledge of administration and supervision of early childhood programs.
