Program Description:
As the Internet and intranets continue to grow, demand for skilled network professionals continues to be strong. Whether it is a small organization looking toward network technologies to improve efficiencies, or a large enterprise tying multiple networks together, this program trains individuals to become advanced journeyman professionals using Cisco networking protocols, devices and software. This program also helps prepare students for the highly respected and well recognized Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification. For students with little or no networking experience, Csc. X480.1, Networking, serves as a prerequisite to all subsequent courses.
Objectives
Participants in this program learn local and wide area networking (LAN/WAN) concepts and practices, TCP/IP addressing and protocols, network security, and a variety of other core topics necessary for setting-up, managing and monitoring Cisco networks.
