The MFE Program has been designed to provide students with a thorough knowledge of modern financial economics and financial practice. Quantitative finance, a well-defined and mature discipline, is becoming increasingly important as unprecedented challenges in global financial markets call for new, rigorous techniques for meeting the demands of banks, investors, and regulators. The MFE Program trains students for positions as risk managers, investment bankers, asset managers, derivative traders and developers of specialized securities at the world's leading commercial and investment banks, insurance companies and corporate and public treasury departments.
