The Interdepartmental Ph.D. Program for Neuroscience at UCLA was established in 1965 as one of the first interdisciplinary predoctoral neuroscience programs. As the educational arm of the Brain Research Institute, the Program draws on the research and teaching expertise of a neuroscience faculty of nearly 150 individuals, one of the world's largest and most diverse faculties in this discipline.
