Program Description:

The Department of Neurobiology offers the Ph.D. degree in Neurobiology, and students may obtain the Master of Science degree: however, the department does not admit candidates for the M.S. degree only. The Department of Neurobiology offers advanced research and training opportunities primarily in cellular and systems neuroscience that lead to Ph.D. or an M.D./Ph.D. degree. Areas of department expertise include cellular neurobiology, synaptic function and physiology, developmental neurobiology, learning and memory, sensory and motor systems, and neuroendocrinology.
