Program Description:
Both traditional genetic organisms and a number of agricultural species are being intensively investigated with both molecular and classical genetic approaches. The faculty are organized into focus groups: animal genomics; chromosome biology; human genetics; model plants; general genetics. Students elect to participate in the focus group of their choice.
