Program Description:
COUNSELING, M.S.
Combining theory with the human experience, the Master of Science in Counseling at UB offers professional preparation for counseling careers in a multitude of settings. Students share a core counseling curriculum with the remaining coursework related to college student personnel. A hallmark of the program is the supervised field and internship experience, which adds depth and perspective to each students learning experience. There are also opportunities for students to network with alumni who are working in the field. With the help of an academic advisor, students plan an individualized program and can complete the program at a pace suitable for them, be it part-time or full-time.
