Program Description:
The University of Bridgeport's School of Engineering takes a tailored approached to engineering education. In the program, students develop their own concentration based on their interests and professional goals. The school offers more than 50 courses that offer a wide variety of topics, ranging from pure electronics to fiber optics/networks, to medical machines, to wireless (cell) communications to renewable energy, to machine automation, and power plant fundamentals.
The department is home to a large Programmable Logic Control lab, and state-of-the-art electronics design program. In addition, electrical engineering majors are given dual degree opportunities and works closely with the School of Engineering's biomedical engineering program.
