The University Language Centre at the University of Bradford, with its wealth of experience in teaching English to speakers of other languages, offers a Master's degree in TESOL and Applied Linguistics.

The course is designed for those graduates who wish to teach English to speakers of other languages, particularly abroad, and those intending to work in administration in that and related fields. The main aims of the programme are to equip student with the knowledge and the tools to enable them to work in a professional capacity in TESOL and to open up other possibilities for further study, research and specialisation through taught modules, project and practical work and research.

The course is modular, some modules compulsory and some optional, with assessment consisting of written exams, coursework and presentations. The Master's qualification comprises 180 credits, 20 credits for each taught module and 60 credits for the dissertation.
