Program Description:
This course provides graduates from either humanities or science-based academic backgrounds with advanced practical, analytical and interpretative skills in forensic archaeology, allowing both field and laboratory orientated pathways. It offers extensive practical simulated exercises and training by Police Scientific Support and Scene of Crime Officers. It covers a wide range of topics from taphonomy, survey, and multidisciplinary crime scene investigation to the search, excavation and evidential recovery from crime scene environments.
