Program Description:

In the M.A. in Legal and Ethical Studies program, you’ll explore your interest in law from multiple perspectives and for a range of purposes, including improving your academic standing for law school admission. UB’s program is one of few distinctive programs in the country that explore law through the lens of liberal arts, encouraging you to study how the law works in practice, with special emphasis on the application of ethical principles in a legal context. The program also provides an opportunity to concentrate on those students that are most applicable to your career aspirations.
