Program Description:

Although some universities offer graduate degrees in graphic design, computer graphics, information architecture or video production, the M.F.A. in Integrated Design program focuses on the integration of these media and allows students to explore their similarities and differences. The program is built on the premise that 21st-century designers must be fluent in multiple mediaù expert in motion/video, hypermedia and Web-based technologies in addition to print. Students develop the skills to conceptualize design solutions to communication problems, the expertise to make those solutions visually attractive and the abilities to physically realize their designs.
