Program Description:

Requires the equivalent of the Bachelor's degree with a major in geosciences or allied discipline. The M.S. degree requires 30 units and the submission of a thesis or prepublication manuscript. Applicants with a Master's degree or a Bachelor's degree may be accepted into the Ph.D. program. A minimum of 48 units are required for the Ph.D., plus 18 dissertation units.
