Program Description:

The purpose of the Ph.D. program in Anthropology and Linguistics is to make it possible for students to develop abilities and acquire knowledge in the area of specialization in the study of language and linguistic theory offered both in linguistics and in linguistic anthropology within the Anthropology Department without having to go through two separate Ph.D. programs.
