Program Description:

The programme offers an internationally comparative perspective on the dynamics of metropolitan regions across the globe. The first year contains courses on metropolitan planning, the changing social geography of urban regions, the metropolitan economy, and international migration; the second year is largely spent abroad at one of our partner institutes for additional courses and thesis research.
