Program Description:

These unique, interdisciplinary programs were launched in response to the demand from the health sector for professionals who possess the new knowledge and skills needed to successfully engage in health promotion activities. These programs were established to encourage health promotion research. enable practitioners to function effectively in public, private, and not-for-profit agencies that plan and deliver health promotion programs, and to increase community leadership capacity in health promotion.
