Emphasis on civil engineering topics such as environmental control; bridges, buildings, dams, and harbor facilities; water resource development and waste disposal; water power, irrigation works, and drainage; air, water, highway, and railway transportation; construction and management; topographic surveying and geodesy; and city management and development planning. The M.C.E. track is for engineers whose goal is broad professional practice. The M.S. track is for those interested in a specialized research emphasis and/or advanced specialized study.
