Program Description:

Both the M.S. and Ph.D. programs allow a student to specialize in one of the areas of chemistry and place emphasis on both research and independent study. The programs are tailored to the needs of individual students and take into consideration previous study and research experience. Entering students take placement examinations approximately one week before the beginning of their first semester. These examinations are set at the level of sound undergraduate training and cover four areas of chemistry: analytical, inorganic, organic and physical.
