Program Description:
The masters of science in human nutrition is a 30 semester-hour program that is designed for practicing registered dietitians. If you are not currently a registered dietitian we do offer on-line didactic courses that can be taken concurrently with our master's program. A didactic program is part of the requirement to become a Registered Dietitian. In order to become a Registered Dietitian you must complete a didactic program, a dietetic internship, and then sit for the RD exam.
Before applying to our master's program you must first complete the prerequisites for our master's program which include Introductory Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Anatomy and Physiology I and II, Introductory Nutrition, Nutrition through the Lifecycle, Nutritional Biochemistry, and Nutrition at the Cellular Level.
