Program Description:
The Departments of Pathology and Comparative Medicine jointly sponsor the Graduate Program in Pathology (leading to the Ph.D. degree). Graduates of this program will make important contributions to the understanding of disease mechanisms through investigation in molecular and cellular pathology. There is no doubt that the training of today's graduates for tomorrow's positions in the scientific world must involve an understanding of the molecular basis underlying human disease.
