Executive MSHA - Health Services Administration
Program Description:
Since 1965, the faculty of the Master of Science in Health Administration Program at UAB have been committed to providing high quality, forward looking professional education to prepare executives for leadership positions in health services organizations. Now we have extended our commitment to excellence in health administration education to an executive format option for the MSHA degree. Faculty from our nationally recognized residential program and from throughout the U.S. teach in the executive format option. The Executive MSHA Program can be completed in six semesters during a twenty-four month period. Each semester begins with an intensive eight day session on the UAB campus. These on-campus sessions start on a Saturday morning and conclude at noon the following Saturday. Classes are scheduled from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. each day (except the last Saturday). Evenings are reserved for reading and working on assignments or group projects. Between on-campus sessions, participants work on assignments at their home locations and interact with faculty and other participants via the Internet.
