Program Description:

The Dublin European Institute is an interdisciplinary centre for research and postgraduate teaching in European Studies. It hosts two long-standing Masters’ degrees (MEconSc and MA) and a structured doctoral programme drawing upon the teaching and research expertise of three university faculties, one dozen teaching departments and 40 academic staff - including six Jean Monnet Professors in Business Studies, Economics, Law, Library and Information Studies, Politics and Social Policy. The Institute is also directly engaged with policymakers in both Dublin and Brussels, providing students with access to critical policy networks and a practical understanding of the policy making process. A dedicated Resource Centre for research in European Studies is also available to students of the Institute. The Dublin European Institute is a designated Jean Monnet Centre for Excellence in European Studies.
