Program Description:

Our program promotes advanced study and specialized research in the arts and letters, cultures and societies of the Caribbean for fully bilingual (English and Spanish) students who are looking for new and exciting avenues of scholarship within and beyond traditional disciplinary boundaries. Caribbean Cultural Studies in Buffalo and Havana provide students with advanced knowledge through a variety of interdisciplinary and multi-professional approaches that are always dependent on direct experience and rooted in the culture, intellectual tradition and artistic milieu of the region and its diasporas.
