Program Description:

The history of art offers students the opportunity to explore the history of art and visual culture. Our M.A. program welcomes intelligent and imaginative students who eventually want to pursue a Ph.D. in art history and related fields, as well as those who wish to enter professional work in museums and preservation programs. The course of study is flexible and can be adapted to meet students' needs and experiences. Each student, with the help of a faculty advisor, plans a program of study designed to facilitate his or her personal and professional goals.
