Our small class size means more personal attention. You have all of the advantages of being part of the UAlbany School of Business, the biggest school on a campus of 18,000. At the same time, you are part of a small MBA program that has been in existence for 35+ years.

Princeton Review ranked the UAlbany MBA #2 in the U.S. for "Opportunities for Women."

The full-time MBA does not require work experience or an undergraduate degree in business. Internships and field projects provide experience leading to jobs. Our MBA combines a phenomenal business education with concentrations in Information Technology Management and Human Resource Information Systems. It's the only MBA in the country with a focus in Human Resource Information Systems, and is recognized by the Society for Human Resource Management.

Two programs meet the needs of busy working professionals. The flexible Evening MBA allows students to take 1 to 4 classes each semester, resulting in an MBA in 2 to 5 years. Most students complete the program in 3 years. Optional elective tracks nanotechnology, finance, information technology management, marketing, new venture development, tax and management. Students may begin the program in spring, summer and fall semesters.

The executive style Weekend MBA starts each fall. Classes meet every other weekend for 22 months. An international trip is built into the program.

Eligibility Requirements:

All applicants are reviewed by an administrative committee. The committee considers the GMAT score, undergraduate GPA, letters of recommendation and personal statement. The committee might recommend a personal interview to determine applicant admissibility.
The full-time program does not require work experience or an undergraduate degree in business. Evening and weekend programs require three or more years of work experience.

International Student Requirements:

TOEFL scores are required. Prospective students must complete the equivalent of a 4 year baccalaureate degree program.
