Program Description:
The MSc in Limnology and Oceanography is one of the four MSc tracks in Biological Sciences offered by the Universiteit van Amsterdam. It is devoted to the biology, chemistry, and physics of aquatic ecosystems, in order to gain a better understanding and achieve better protection of the world's aquatic resources. Limnology and Oceanography is an advanced, multidisciplinary master's programme focusing on freshwater ecosystems (limnology) as well as marine ecosystems (oceanography). As such it provides a challenging study programme for all those interested in the aquatic sciences and offers prospects for exciting careers in both science and society.
