Program Description:

Peoples of African descent have made a decisive contribution to the consolidation of the world capitalist system. These peoples have, nonetheless, been subject to persistent and multiple forms of socio-economic and cultural exclusion and discrimination. The aim of both programmes is to train candidates so as to gain insight into the dynamic intersection between socio-economic conditions and cultural identities and processes. This is achieved through the study of experience of peoples of African descent within an international context.
