Program Description:

The aim of the doctoral program is to provide advanced training in both economic theory and applied economics, as well as to introduce students to high-standard research in economics. For the whole length of the program, registered students are supervised by members of the Faculty and possibly by external academic supervisors as well, ensuring that constant progress is made in the research activity leading to the doctoral dissertation. Graduates from this programme will be able to compete successfully for a number of different positions, as researchers (in both universities and research centres), economists and consultants (in public agencies or international organisations and institutions), and high-skilled professionals (in private companies, both in Italy and in other countries).
