Master of Sport Science in Sport Coaching
The graduate curriculum in sports coaching prepares students for sports coaching careers at a variety of levels of competition. The program is designed for each student to focus on the demands involved in the leadership and operation of individual and team sports.
Students will develop their own coaching philosophy and focus in areas such as Sports Psychology, Sports Coaching Methodology, and Strength & Conditioning. Students in this area of study may choose to complete a mentorship, thesis, or non-thesis elective track to create a degree that focuses toward their area of interest in the sports world.
The United States Sports Academy is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award baccalaureate, master’s, and doctoral degrees. Students interested in pursuing the Master of Sports Science degree in Sports Coaching are required to have a bachelor's degree from a 4-year, regionally accredited institution. It is not required to have a degree in a field related to coaching. Students can be admitted on a conditional basis if their bachelor's program is not regionally accredited and their GPA does not meet the required 2.5.

International students are required to have the US equivalent of a bachelors degree from an accredited institution. All transcripts must be certified by a NACES member organization. A satisfactory score on the TOEFL or IELTS is also required.
