Program Description:
The goal of the Graduate program in Biomedical Sciences at Tulane University is to educated individuals dedicated to pursuing careers as scientists and scholars in the basic medical sciences. To achieve this goal an academic environment is maintained which fosters creative thinking and supports programs leading to excellence in scholarship, research and teaching. No matter which of Tulane's six Biomedical Science departments you concentrate in or how ambitious your goals- there are ways to shape your education to fit your needs. Tulane Graduate program in Biomedical Sciences has evolved an array of options to speed, customize and enrich your degree. We've given you a multitude of controls- and the freedom to choose your direction.

The Graduate Program in Biomedical Sciences currently enrolls over 100 doctoral students and 50 M.S.
Eligibility Requirements:
*GRE and TOEFL must have been taken with in the last 3 years and mailed directly from ETS.
*Official transcripts in sealed envelopes mailed directly to the BMS Office
*Letters of Recceomendation on letterhead in sealed envelopes mailed directly to the BMS Office.
** MCAT scores are acceptable for M.S. applications only
International Student Requirements:
TOEFL iBT score of 100 recommended. (600 for computer-based test and 250 for paper-based test)
