Program Description:

The Biblical Studies program at Trinity focuses on interpreting biblical content both in the context of Scripture, and in the broader context of the ancient near Eastern world.á Our courses seek to understand how the Scriptural text was heard by the first generation for which it is written, and on that basis, what the text means for us today.á Our courses also stress an understanding of current movements within the academic world of Biblical Studies.á This understanding is important if believers are to function as a lighthouse of faith in the broad flood of ideas sweeping through the church today.á We desire all that God's servants to be workers who "do not need to be ashamed" of the truth that they defend.
