Program Description:

The Master of Science program in social science boasts a unique program allowing students to gain an interdisciplinary postgraduate degree while specializing in their particular field of interest at the same time. Students and professionals from diverse backgrounds collaborate during the 18-credit core as they review concepts in the six disciplines of the Social Sciences and encounter the newest methods in research. From there, students pursue specialized study in the field of most interest to them in a specialized Track. Scholars may opt for either the formal writing of a thesis, or for the preparation of a professional presentation. This program is strongly geared to serve the advanced education needs of teachers.
