Program Description:

The Master of Education in Reading is designed to prepare reading professionals to improve literacy at all levels. More specifically, the program is structured to prepare degree candidates to conduct diagnostic reading evaluations and design instructional programs based on those evaluations; to serve as reading resource teachers; to conduct in-service workshops on topics related to reading; to supervise school or workplace reading programs; and to conduct research in reading and related areas.
