Program Description:

The Program has three concentrations: School Health Education, Health Science Administration, andCommunity Health Education. School Health Education students are trained to deal with critical health issues, to coordinate a total school health program, and to interpret relevant research. The concentration in Administration is for individuals already in a health career who wish to acquire or augment skills in quantitative analysis, program planning, accounting, and related areas. Community Health Education students study factors that influence health-related behaviors, the dynamics and methods of planned change, and the application of knowledge and theory in health service settings and the community at large.
