The Microbiology Program with specialization tracks in Clinical Microbiology, Microbiology Research/Biotechnology, and Infectious Disease Control - offer choices for career specialization. This program is recognized as a Professional Science Master's degree (PSMs). PSM degrees typically consist of two years academic training in an emerging or interdisciplinary area of science and a professional component that may include internships and “cross-training” in business and communications.
