Program Description:

The Master of Science Program in Cell & Developmental Biology prepares its graduates for leadership roles in research and development in academia, industry, and government. Graduates may be employed as basic research scientists, faculty in academic institutions, managers, or research associates in industrial positions.

This program is recognized as a Professional Science Master's degree (PSMs). PSM degrees typically consist of two years academic training in an emerging or interdisciplinary area of science and a professional component that may include internships and “cross-training” in business and communications. PSMs are designed to dovetail into present and future professional career opportunities.
