Program Description:

The Department of Biology is diversified so that a student can obtain a graduate degree with an emphasis in molecular biology, microbiology, neurobiology, general biology, or science education. The primary objectives of the department are to provide education and training broad enough to prepare the student to enter teaching, research, or industry. There are opportunities for both teaching and research assistantships. The department is proud of its graduates, most of whom have excellent positions in education, research, or industry.
