Program Description:
The Fibers and Textiles Certificate Program at a distance is designed specifically to meet the needs of today's working professional; there are an estimated 400,000 American jobs related to cotton production and processing. This certificate requires a minimum of 12 credit hours of coursework and covers topics including the study of cotton fibers, textile manufacturing systems, and the textile industry. Upon successful completion of coursework, students will be awarded a Fibers and Textiles Certificate from Texas Tech University. This certificate can be pursued independently or concurrently with a master's degree program.
Classes are delivered online. Required coursework can be completed at distance, although some optional classes may be available only face-to-face
