Program Description:

The Master of Arts has three basic goals. The first goal is to prepare graduates for a career in one of a number of varied fields, including but not limited to corporate research, personnel work, administrative responsibility, and data analysis. The second goal is to enhance the competencies of persons who will teach in community colleges or public schools. The third goal is to provide a sound general background for those who anticipate further graduate training beyond the master's degree
