Program Description:
Our Master of Science in Information Systems (MS-IS) is designed
to prepare graduates to assume responsibilities for the development of
computer-based systems, management of system development projects,
systems implementation and the management of information systems
in an organizational setting. The MS-IS graduate will be prepared
to address the needs of the continually developing IS field and is now
considered the industry standard for education for senior information
systems professionals.
Our MS-IS requires the completion of 30 credit hours that includes
a core curriculum of eight graduate-level field-specific courses and two
graduate-level business electives. The core curriculum of our MS-IS focuses
on the bases of information systems practices: advanced programming,
networks management, systems analysis, database management,
and systems and design management.
