Program Description:

The Master of Music in Music Education degree offers opportunities for advanced studies on broad-based principles and practices in music education, as well as theories of learning and teaching, and provides an introduction to research methodology.
The Ph.D. program in Music Education stresses the development of university teaching skills and research experience. It prepares music educators with advanced skills in quantitative or qualitative research modes to effectively translate research findings into music education practice and to develop a cadre of music education professors who can assume leadership roles in the music education profession.
