Program Description:

The graduate program in media studies at Newhouse centers on the academic study of the mass media. Exploring such topics as television effects, gender and media, and political communication with an emphasis on communications theory and methodology, students in the program analyze the ways the media shape the world and, in turn, the ways the world shapes the media.
