Program Description:

Advertising is the art of persuasive communication. The one-year, management-focused graduate program at Newhouse gives students a solid knowledge of advertising theory and techniques, preparing them for careers in advertising agencies, corporate advertising departments, or media companies. Students take courses in advertising practice and management, marketing, communications law, communications theory or research, and writing and visual communications. Those with an interest in interactive advertising can learn about it from a media and branding perspective.
