Program Description:

The school counseling degree seeks to prepare counselors who can contribute meaningfully to the personal, academic and career lives of the students they serve. This is achieved through engendering core skills, developing practical knowledge, and providing ample opportunity for supervised practice in schools. The coursework prepares students for licensure as counselors in public and private secondary schools (grades 5-12).
